Editions are sold unframed, by design.
The paper renders its finest detail behind non-reflective art glass, and glass of that grade cannot be shipped — it is cut to size and fitted locally by a framer.
Standard A sizing keeps this simple: A frames are the most common size, and assists any framer for custom framing.
Each print is signed and numbered in pencil by Mitchell Lacey.
Every number is entered in the studio register — a permanent record of the image, edition number, paper and print date.
A certificate of authenticity accompanies the print, matching its number in the register. When an edition sells through, its record closes permanently.
